I Cam Do It
I Cam Do It is an exciting Unity project that I am currently developing. This captivating game features a unique hybrid camera mechanic, seamlessly combining 2D and 3D elements into a thrilling platforming experience. The player can effortlessly switch between a third-person camera perspective, a top-down 2D camera, and a side-view 2D camera with just a press of a button.

Gameplay revolves around overcoming obstacles, and the distinct camera perspectives add a fascinating twist to the platforming mechanics. By strategically switching between views, players must navigate the environment, cleverly finding alternative solutions when their ability to jump over obstacles is removed.

Responsibilities as a Game Designer:

Envisioning the core concept of I Cam Do It as a hybrid 2D/3D platformer.

Brainstormed ideas and developed a unique mechanic that allowed players to seamlessly switch between different camera perspectives.

Carefully designed the platforming challenges to provide players with an exciting and intellectually stimulating experience.

Designed the levels to ensure a balance between challenge and reward by placing obstacles, platforms, and collectibles in strategic locations.

By leveraging the various camera perspectives, designed levels that encouraged players to think critically, explore different angles, and discover alternate paths to reach their goals.

Conducted playtesting sessions to gather feedback and iteratively adjust the game's difficulty curve, ensuring a satisfying progression throughout the levels.

Designed an intuitive user interface (UI) that allowed players to seamlessly switch between camera views with a single button press to enhance the player's understanding and control of the camera mechanics.
